Began playing piano and ukelele at the age of six and started long history of playing music completely by ear. Transitioned over to playing the bass guitar in 1986 while attending The Greater Hartford Academy of the Performing Arts. Teamed up with drummer Don Gunn in 1988 and after many band-name and personnel changes, are currently preparing to take most recent material into the studio with rock trio "Chalk." In 1993 began performing with brother Jesse in progressive-folk band "Mobile Home," and are contemplating an album of new material to be recorded in 2006. In the fall of 2002, joined Paul Howard (Dad) in reforming "Last Fair Deal," an acoustic string band quartet which dubs its unique brand of folk and bluegrass fusion "new American roots music". Todd has been performing with singer-songwriter Karmen Buttler during 2005/2006 and have been enjoying collaborative support from an incredibly talented singer to work on new solo acoustic material. Since 2004 has been playing bass with kid's-jam-rock outfit Spaghetti Cake formed by life-long friends Glen and Sue Nelson. Currently dreaming of learning cello.
